Nestor Noyola, M.A.

About Me:

Néstor Noyola, M.A. (he/him, él) is a clinical fellow in psychology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Brown University and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Clinical Psychology at Clark University. In his research, Néstor integrates tenets from intersectionality theory, liberation psychology, and minority stress theory to understand how historically oppressed communities – particularly LGBTQ+ and Latinx communities – understand, navigate, and resist stress shaped by systemic oppression. Néstor is particularly interested in developing strengths-based and culturally-attuned prevention and intervention programs to address depression and suicide risk among LGBTQ+ and Latinx communities.
